eBay launches portal for food products

eBay India has recently launched eBay Daily, an online shopping portal for international food products and globally, India is the second market in which this service is offered. eBay Daily offers browsers a wide variety in 12 categories including biscuits, beverages and breakfast, amongst others. All transactions on eBay Daily will take place via PaisaPay and would be covered by eBay’s guarantee. eBay Daily is also offering free shipping on purchases above Rs 150, until June 30. Deepa Thomas, eCommerce Evangelist, eBay India, said, "We see a huge opportunity for the international packaged food products in smaller towns here.”
