SnapBizz targets 3000 retailers by 2018

Retail tech company, Snapbizz, has announced its entry into the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh market as it plans to tap nearly 3000 retailers in a year.

The company plans to tap nearly 15,000 to 20,000 kirana stores in next one year in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Surat, Gujarat and Southern cities.

Prem Kumar, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, SnapBizz said, “The Goods and Services Tax turned out to be a shot in the arm for us and we have been good number of enquiries from kirana stores for our products.”

The company sells point of sale (PoS) machines, printers, LED TVs and a bar code readers to each of the Kirana stores along an app under their network for Rs 40,000 that helps them to tap the local demand which is shifting to modern retail.It also works with FMCG companies by sharing consumer behaviour insights that helps them to make consumer focussed promotions.

The solution enables retailers to increase sales through smart merchandising and promotions, obtain revenue generation from brands, and enhance profitability via smart inventory management.

Kumar added, “We provide each store with a unique code that can be fed into our mobile application and the buyer can access all the products of that store on a virtual market to make an order. This way, the store can attract more buyers and nearly 15-25% improvement in profits.”

SnapBizz has opened its offices in Hyderabad and Vizag and appointed 3MT Networks Pvt. Ltd. as the distribution partner for the region.

The company is looking at stores across Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada and Guntur to expand.
