Odyssey India unveils “The Eyewear Store” Odyssey India Ltd, a part of Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited, has taken the plunge in retailing optical products under the brand name “The Eyewear Store”. Its first outlet comes up at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, TS Ashwin, Managing Director, said, “We are positioning ‘The Eyewear Store’ as a premium store with focus on branded products as these are highly driven by the cultness of the brand and oomph value it carries” The outlet will stock over 600 designs to choose among brands offering basic range like RayBan, Fastrack, Poloroid to the sporty range from Levis, CAT, Vogue and as well as the designer range from Ferrari, Versace, Mont Blanc, Bvlgari. The price ranges between Rs.1500 and Rs.35000 offering the widest range in optical wear category. Ashwin also added, “We are offering the best in class eye testing facility, prescription frames/lenses, designer frames from leading brand along with world class ambience & comforting interiors, trained & experienced staff, and wide range at varied price points. With such a combination, we expect the store to set a benchmark for others to follow.”
