Khoday Group launches 'Khodays Commerce Center'

Khoday Group, the Bangalore-based business house recently launched ‘Khodays Commerce Center’. Established with an aim to facilitate international trade, the Khoday Commerce Center will assist global corporations to explore doing business in India by providing a permanent exhibition presence, an effective representative office and requisite infrastructure to its clients. With interests in diverse sectors including liquor, trading, real-estate, agriculture and forestry, this is the latest venture from the Khoday Group.

Situated on a spacious 8-acre land on Kanakapura Road, Bangalore, Khodays Commerce Center is a state-of-the-art trade facility, with landscaped grounds, ample parking space and over 15,000 square meters of built-up space.

The main exhibition/office space consists of spacious booths in a large 5000 sq. meter hall. Restaurants, meeting rooms, video-conferencing facility, uninterrupted power-supply and back-office areas provide ample additional space to meet the needs of corporations interested in partnering with Indian companies.

Talking at the inauguration, Mr. Srihari Khoday, Managing Director, Khoday Group said, “Over the last few years, India has been looked upon as a leading high-growth economy. This has become even more apparent now when the world is recovering from the downturn and India has emerged as a robust economy with heightened purchasing power. This has placed India at the forefront of their overall strategy for companies across the world prompting them to enter or expand their presence in India. We are sure that a world-class facility like the Khodays Commerce Center will go a long way in supporting those companies to do business successfully in India.”

In its first phase, the ‘Khodays Commerce Center’ has entered into a strategic partnership with A & Elle Associati Consulting - a management consultancy based in Italy which specialises in assisting small and medium enterprises enter other geographies. As a result of this partnership, the first set of clients to set base and make use of the facilities at the Khodays Commerce Center will be Italian companies from diverse sectors looking to partner with Indian companies.

Mr. Paolo Annavini - Manging Partner, A & Elle Associati Consulting (Italy) said, “Currently Italy is the world’s seventh largest economy by GDP, and India is the world’s second fastest growing economy. Despite this, the quantum of trade between India and Italy is negligible; this offers a lot of scope and opportunity for the Italian companies to set-up base in India. We hope that this partnership with Khoday Group will benefit both Indian and Italian companies and help improve trade relations between the two countries.”
