Intex appoints Jayesh Parekh as head for consumer durable business

Consumer Electronics firm, Intex Technologies, has appointed former Reliance Jio VP of sales & distribution, Jayesh Parekh as business head for its consumer durable business, it said in a statement.

Parekh will be responsible for overall business development activities, launching new products and categories and establishing healthy and prolonged business relations with consumers and partners, said the company.

Parekh brings with him 20 years of diversified expertise to Intex with a strong track record in Consumer Durable/Electronic & Telecom Industry. Before Jio, he was associated with Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co. Ltd as National Sales Head. Apart from this, his professional experience also covers companies like Whirlpool and Samsung.
