Intersekt launches its first flagship showroom In New Delhi

Intersekt, an experiential design showroom encompassing a wide array of products including floor & wall coverings and bathroom & wellness products from various exclusive brands like Porcelanosa, Sicis, Zucchetti, Villeroy & Boch, Florim, Inkiostro Bianco and many more, launches its flagship showroom in the capital. Spearheaded by Vidur Arora and Ridhi Arora, Intersekt is the retail venture of the parent company Marmo Home, a national level wholesaler and distributor of imported tiles primarily sourced from Spain, Italy, Germany, China and Malaysia with a distribution network of over 300 dealers spanning across 90 cities in India.

The showroom, designed by architect Kapil Aggarwal of Spaces Architects@ka, with a surface area of 30,000 square feet, is distributed over four floors with retail space over three floors and an exclusive floor dedicated to their corporate headquarters. The unique façade, designed using a new large format tile (80x240cm) from Florim, Italy, enhances the vibe of the overall atmosphere and adds timelessness to the architecture with the lighting design from Mr. Harmeet Singh Issar from Design Matrix adding the perfect blend to the character of the showroom.

The ground floor, showcasing over 400 panels of tile displays, leads into curated design concepts of living areas, baths and outdoor spaces on the first floor making it easier for customers to visualize design themes. The second floor and terrace encompasses the office space and an innovative display of tiles. Lastly, the third floor is specifically designed to cater to the industry influencers for projects and hosts exclusively the brand Porcelanosa, a leader in its category and one of Spain’s most reputable company’s with 40 years of experience in tiles, ceramics and fittings with a presence in almost 150 countries worldwide.

Vidur Arora, one of the Co-Founders of Intersekt said “For us it was important to create a space that could help the client visualize their space with ease and for that reason we have invested and dedicated a lot of space to create these complete moods and settings.” Ridhi Arora, the other Co-Founder said “We wanted to show clients and architects that tiles are a versatile product that are not meant to be used just in the bathroom. The purpose of Intersekt is to educate the customer about the endless possibilities of the usage of tiles.”
