Future Lifestyle Q2 Net Profit Rises To Rs 30 crore

Future Lifestyle Fashion, the lifestyle arm of Kishore Biyani led Future Group,  posted a marginal rise of 3.23 percent in net profit to Rs 30.28 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2017-18 ended September 30 as compared to Rs 29.33 crore it posted during the corresponding period last year.

Revenue of the company increased around 10 percent in the quarter under review to Rs 1117.80 crore. Company posted revenue of Rs 1,019.34 crore in the second quarter of last financial year.

Company reported a jump of 18.5 percent in earnings before interest, depreciation and tax (EBIDT) to Rs 109.92 crore as compared to Rs 92.72 crore a year earlier.

During the first half of financial year 2017-18, company has opened Central stores in Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad and NCR. It also opened 5 Brand Factory stores during the first six months of this financial year.  Company’s presentation that it rolled out Future Pay wallet for Central customers having 2.8 million registered users during the first half of FY17-18.
