Apple to provide app support and advice for iOS apps to developers

A year after the announcement was made by Tim Cook, CEO, Apple has opened its App Accelerator in Bengaluru, the first-of-its-kind facility for Apple in India. This facility will provide specialised support for developers, including tools and best practices, quality and performance.

Each week, Apple experts will take a session and provide one-on-one app reviews for developers.

Philip Schiller, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, "We are impressed by the great entrepreneurial spirit in India, and are excited to provide a platform for these developers to share their innovations with customers around the world."

He added, "In just the first few weeks, we’ve already seen some incredible developers here at the App Accelerator Bengaluru, including Practo and Reliance Games, create innovative apps that can meet the needs of customers in India and around the world."

Apple is looking to provide app support and advice for iOS apps on iPhone and iPad, WatchOS apps for Apple Watch, TVOS apps for Apple TV platform and more.

iOS developers can connect to the App Accelerator in India through a sign-up process. Apple aims to address 500 developers every week in the centre, providing feedback and app analysis.
