He has been associated with the Footwear industry for the last 7 years and has a reputation for successfully launching footwear brands like Levi's footwear in the Indian market. Mr Uppal is solely responsible for setting the standards for licensing of international footwear brands and bringing them to the Indian market. In the past, he has worked with M/s. Lakhani India Ltd and Diamond Footwear, helping them in restructuring the complete organisation and operations, and marking their successful entry into the licensing business.
