Woodland, one of India’s leading adventure wear brand plans to grow strong in the Kerala region. The brand eyes 30 per cent growth in its revenue for FY14.

It plans to expand its retail footprint in the region by opening 10 new outlets taking the total number to 25 by the end of FY13. The tier II cities will be on radar to further boost the sales.

In Kerala, Kochi will have three more stores. A new one will be opened at Kozhikode. New stores will also be opened at tier II towns of Thodupuza, Thalassery, Malappuram, Kottayam and Alappuzha informed Harkirat Singh, Managing Director of the brand. Targeting the youth of the country, Woodland will focus on digital marketing space and will also do various activities in schools and colleges as part of its brand promotion initiatives.

Woodland, according to Singh, is all set to achieve sales revenue of Rs 55 crore from Kerala by the end of the current fiscal against Rs 45 crore garnered in the previous fiscal.

The company, with 370 stores and another 4,000 retailers selling Woodland products, is targeting Rs 1,000 crore sales turnover in 2013-14 nationally by increasing its presence in tier II and III cities.
