TGL to use recently raised $ 1 million funds for expansion

 Luxury tea manufacturer,The Good Life Company (TGL Co) has raised $1million in its first round of funding. Actress and restaurateur Ayesha Takia Azmi and her husband Abu Farhan Azmi has invested in the start-up.

TGL,set up by entrepreneurs Bhuman Dani and Shariq Ashraf, formerly with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), is raising Rs over 6 crore from the new investors.

Dani said, “The demographic profile of consumers supports products such as ours. We are exploring different retail options including setting up tea parlours and experience centres.”

TGL will use these funds for expanding operations in the domestic as well as international markets such as the US, UK, Singapore and the Middle East.
