Lavazza Espression enters India 
Lavazza, Italy’s favourite coffee and a world leader in the coffee market, has taken yet another step in strengthening its market presence with the launch of its signature coffee shop,  ‘Lavazza Espression’, in New Delhi. Located in the heart of the city in Connaught Place, the launch of Espression marks the beginning of a new chapter in Lavazza’s India innings. This is the company’s first Espression store in India after it entered the country with the acquisition of “Barista Coffee Company” and “Fresh and Honest Cafe Ltd.” in 2007. 
Attilio Capuano, Asia-Pacific Director, Lavazza, said, “India is a fast developing and fascinating country – a melting pot of different flavours and cultures, where young consumers are attracted by fashion, western trends and consumption habits. Lavazza Espression is Lavazza’s ambassador around the world. The introduction of Espression in India is part of our long term strategy to strengthen the Lavazza brand and get customers to experience the rich flavours of Italy. We want to offer to Indian consumers the full Lavazza experience, made of ambiance, overall quality and excellent products. The first opening will be followed by an expansion plan to open Lavazza Espression stores across key metros in the country over the next 12-18 months.”
