The first private sector integrated city `Crossings Republik` in UP spread over an area of 360 acres has been announced by a leading real estate company Crossings Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. to be brought within 2009-10 in Ghaziabad. `Crossings City Centre` and `Crossings Galleria` are the two major commercial projects of Crossings Republik which will have more than 30 million sq. ft. of built-up residential area and 2 million sq. ft. of commercial areas consisting of hotels, malls, multiplexes, office complex, service apartments, etc. With an objective to cater a population of more than 1 lakh residents, the Rs. 6000 crore project Crossings Republik opted such a suitable position in Ghaziabad which has the very close proximities from Delhi Railway Station, International airport, Noida, Gurgaon and Faridabad. Mr. Sanjeev Srivastva, Managing Director, Assotech Ltd. said, "Bringing the shopping and entertainment facilities at Crossings City Centre and Crossings Galleria is a major milestone in the expansion of Crossings Republik and we will have the most leading and fashionable brands to set up stores here. We ardently believe that our residents will highly appreciate the easy accessibility to everything that is required for families and homes." An USA-based company Sasaki Associates and one of the most leading Indian architect Mr. S K Das are in association with this project to bring global standardization. Crossing City Centre will be a mesmerizing mall sprawling across 14 lakhs sq. ft. and Crossings Galeria, comprising of 100 shops will be a neighbourhood shopping destination spreading over 35,000 sq. ft. Crossings Republik, commented Mr. Manoj Gaur, Joint MD, Gaursons India Ltd., would be an environmentally sustainable central business district which would have its own public system and atriums, food courts, multiplexes, office towers, entertainment zones and hypermarkets. Crossing Infrastructure has already been in talks with the brands like Raymonds, Titan, Reebok, Adidas, Gini & Jony, Zodiac, Meena Bazar, Arrow, Shopper Stops, Provogue, Reliance Retail, Vishal, Mc Donald, Ritu Wears, Apple, Shoetree to name a few.
